Ella Griffiths
Ella Griffiths was born in Hastings, New Zealand in January 1978. In 1980 her family moved to Australia and settled in northern New South Wales, near Byron Bay.
After primary and secondary education in Australia, Ella spent two years travelling, living and working abroad. In 2001 she returned to New Zealand to study at Victoria University of Wellington, where she gained a Bachelor of Arts in Media Studies.
Her work experience ranges from salmon filleting in Scotland to teaching English to Japanese students in Sydney. Best is her first book.
