Lesley Hall

Lesley Hall is acting programme director of Gender and Women’s Studies at the School of Education Studies, Victoria University of Wellington. Her teaching and research interests include autobiography, biography and oral history, and feminist analyses of science, medicine and technology.

She has recorded oral histories of New Zealand women scientists, and is coordinator of a project to record oral histories of Emeritus Members of the Royal Society of New Zealand.

She is president of the National Oral History Association of New Zealand, a founder member of the Phoenix Astronomical Society and a key player in the construction of Stonehenge Aotearoa.
