Davinia Caddy

Davinia Caddy is a senior lecturer at the School of Music, University of Auckland, where she teaches the history, theory and analysis of music. She began her musical career playing principal flute in the UK’s National Youth Orchestra, gained a PhD in music from Cambridge University, and carried out post-doctoral research at Oxford. Her book The Ballet Russes and Beyond: Music and Dance in Belle-Époque Paris was published by Cambridge University Press in 2012.
